CAMELBOY wurde im August 1992 von Aki und Peer ins Leben gerufen. Im folgenden Frühjahr wurde der damalige Schlagzeuger durch Timo ersetzt. Tim stieß im Winter 1996 als zweiter Gitarrist dazu.
